While there are signs of improvement, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities across the nation. For both communities and the organizations serving them, inflation, labor shortages and the availability of childcare were top challenges. Conducted in August 2022, this national survey of organizations that serve low- to moderate-income (LMI) communities also found signs of recovery. The survey was fielded by seven national partners and the Federal Reserve System's community development function.
