SUMMARY:District Dialogues: Addressing the Wealth Gap
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond for District Dialogues\, a forum that gives community members a unique opportunity to engage with experts about economic issues facing the Fifth District and beyond. The next installment in the series\, Addressing the Wealth Gap\, will explore black-white wealth disparities and their consequences for the economy. Join us Thursday\, May 12 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. to hear a panel of experts field audience questions related to the origins of these disparities\, their economic impact\, and opportunities to address them. Registration is required\, but there is no cost to attend. \n\n\n\nThis event is open to anyone interested in the racial wealth gap and the role of policy\, including educators\, school administrators\, state and local policymakers\, workforce development professionals\, and community and business leaders. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\nThe event will take place at the Richmond Fed in downtown Richmond\, with a virtual attendance option available for those who cannot gather in person.
