SUMMARY:Class Dismissed: The Economic Cost of Pandemic Learning Loss
DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n\n\n\nImagine a classroom where the vibrant energy of students learning and growing is abruptly silenced. Schools worldwide shut their doors as the COVID-19 pandemic sweeps across nations\, leaving millions of students isolated from their teachers and peers. Online learning becomes the new norm\, but the digital divide and lack of resources create significant barriers. \n\n\n\nJoin us Thursday\, November 14\, for the next installment in our District Dialogues series as we bring together economists\, educators and policymakers to analyze how prolonged school closures and remote learning have affected student achievement and how it could impact our future workforce and economy.
