The Philadelphia Fed’s Economic Mobility Summit aims to advance a national conversation about economic opportunity and mobility. The summit will feature the latest research on the importance of upward mobility for economic resilience and growth; elevate best practices and strategies that local communities can use to address structural barriers, build social capital, and leverage workforce organizations to advance opportunity and economic mobility; and build capacity for partnership and peer learning across regions.
Attendees will take away ideas and opportunities to strengthen economic mobility within their regions. Sessions will be designed to leverage peer learning and research for advancing economic mobility through collaborative, community-led partnerships.
Partnering organizations include the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta, Chicago, and St. Louis; The Pew Charitable Trusts; Philadelphia Foundation; and the Urban Institute.
