About Theresa

Theresa Polachek is a vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, leading the Communications Department.  She has responsibility for organizational communications, editorial services, executive communications, external and government relations, website content strategy, and marketing. Prior to joining the Cleveland Fed in 2022, Theresa was the vice president of corporate communications for Swagelok, a global manufacturing company. 

Outside the Cleveland Fed, Theresa is a board member of the American Heart Association’s Greater Cleveland Chapter and committee chair for the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from PRSA.
