WATCH ON DEMAND
Homeownership is increasingly out of reach for many households. At the same time, elevated demand for rental housing is driving up rents in communities across the United States. How can research inform strategies to improve housing affordability?
This seminar, presented by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Philadelphia on September 26, 2023 gathered experts to discuss their research on rental housing dynamics during the pandemic and how those lessons can inform strategies to expand the number of low-cost rental units in the future.
