Pathways to Progress: Strengthening the Young Adult Workforce in the Delta

September 11 @ 8:00 am 10:30 am CDT

Gallery of headshots of a diverse mix of speakers and panelist across the Mississippi Delta and St. Louis Fed staff.

Last year, the St. Louis Fed’s Community Development team held 16 roundtables across the Eighth District to better understand the needs of our region’s workforce. Stakeholders throughout the Memphis Zone, which covers eastern Arkansas, northern Mississippi and the Mississippi Delta, shared their insights.

Join us in person for a conversation on addressing the challenges that limit job opportunities in our region. At this event, you’ll hear from business and industry leaders, community organizations and educational partners from across the Mississippi Delta who have deployed successful approaches for working together to expand workforce opportunities for vulnerable populations.

You will have an opportunity during registration to submit questions in advance of the event’s Q&A session.

There is no charge to attend this event, but registration by Sept. 3 is required.

Questions? Contact the St. Louis Fed’s Community Development staff at communitydevelopment@stls.frb.org.
