Promising Approaches to Financing Child Care Facilities

On Thursday, September 19, 2024, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, will host an in-person event at Connecticut’s Housatonic Community College on innovative financing in the child care sector.

The event will focus on the challenges that child care providers face in securing capital to expand and contain the cost of center-based and home care to meet demand for safe, affordable, quality child care. This event will feature case studies on new approaches to funding child care facilities from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

The event will be of interest to child care providers, policymakers, financial institutions, foundations, and community organizations.
