Challenges and Opportunities in Multifamily Affordable Housing Finance

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host an in-person event on private and public investments in multifamily affordable housing. Discussion will center on private capital’s role in financing multifamily affordable housing and public agencies’ innovative financing approaches to building affordable housing. This event will be of interest to affordable housing developers, banks, advocates, and institutional investors in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors.
