Institute for Economic Equity St. Louis Fed Advancing an Economy Where All Can Thrive

The Institute for Economic Equity’s third Conversations on Equity virtual event will feature a discussion between Kenneth C. Frazier and Institute Director William M. Rodgers III about corporate America’s role in achieving economic equity. Frazier is the executive chairman of Merck’s board of directors, a role he began in July 2021 following a decadelong tenure as the company’s president and CEO.

Frazier will share reflections on his own career path as one of few Black CEOs in corporate America. In addition, he will highlight a new initiative he co-founded called OneTen. OneTen’s mission is to leverage the power of corporate America to hire, promote and advance 1 million Black individuals who do not have a four-year degree into family-sustaining careers.
