Dialogue with the Fed—Inside the FOMC

June 25 @ 1:30 pm 2:30 pm CDT

Dialogue with the Fed - Beyond Today's Financial Headlines

The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) is the Federal Reserve’s chief body for monetary policy focused on meeting the Fed’s two main goals: maximum employment and stable prices. The FOMC’s decisions influence the cost and availability of credit, as well as the overall economy.

On June 25, join the St. Louis Fed for a virtual presentation about the FOMC: what it is, how it works and who’s involved. Senior Economic Education Specialist Amanda Geiger and Senior Business Economist Kathleen Navin will give an overview of the FOMC, summarize the June FOMC meeting and answer your questions. They will be joined by Matuschka Lindo Briggs, who will facilitate the Q&A.

This virtual-only event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

Questions? Contact Ellen Amato at ellen.amato@stls.frb.org or 314-444-3749.
