The Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Institute will host its annual research conference on November 17, 2022. This event will celebrate the Institute’s five-year anniversary and showcase the range of frontier-style research with which the Institute engages. Papers will discuss questions related to the Institute’s mission of supporting the Federal Reserve’s mandates through research into how to enhance economic opportunity and achieve inclusive growth. Keynote remarks will be provided by Philip Jefferson, a former Institute advisor who was confirmed in 2022 to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
This event will be in person with presenters, discussants, and an invited audience. In addition, the event will be livestreamed and an event recording will be posted here afterwards.
The conference will be accompanied by two other events. The Institute Advisory Board will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday. Friday is the Institute’s mentoring conference, which provides junior scholars an opportunity to present research and receive feedback in a constructive setting. These events will not be recorded, but we encourage you to visit participants’ websites to engage with their scholarship.
