Financial Inclusion Practices and Innovations

The Federal Reserve Board will be hosting a conference “Financial Inclusion Practices and Innovations” on July 9 in Washington, D.C. The conference will feature speeches, presentations, and discussions on various financial inclusion topics with Federal Reserve Board leadership, academics, consumer and community organizations, and thought leaders.

In the first session, academics will provide insights on financial inclusion topics and discuss the implications of financial inclusion on supervision and regulation in the banking system. Speakers will discuss financial inclusion through the lens of digital payments in the second session. The third session will be a fireside chat focused on the connection between financial inclusion and financial health. The final session will highlight research by think tanks and practitioners that focuses on consumer implications of financially inclusive products and practices.

The conference will be webcast at www.federalreserve.gov and www.youtube.com/federalreserve.
