On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a virtual event focused on investment strategies to address the social determinants of health affecting older people and their ability to participate in the economy.
Topics will include strategies for supporting healthy aging and developing age-friendly cities and places. Speakers will discuss place-based investment approaches, the importance of investment frameworks that support local leadership, and how an age-friendly population health approach strengthens the overall economy.
The event is the fourth in a series centered on ideas from around the world for place-based investments addressing the social determinants of health. The event will be of interest to leaders in the financial, government, nonprofit, and health sectors.
