Health and Racial Equity Convergence: Addressing the Social Determinants of Health

On Wednesday, February 21, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in partnership with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, will host an in-person event exploring how meeting social needs can improve overall health. The event will focus on how addressing social needs, such as access to healthy food and green space, can improve chronic disease outcomes and address racial patterns of health and social inequalities.
This event will be of interest to leaders in public health, research, community development, city planning, and the health care industry.
The event is part of a series, “Reimagining Public Health for NYC,” hosted by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.”
This event is open to the public.
