While subject to significant regional variation, the populations of many rural communities are getting smaller, older and more diverse. Along with these changes, communities are experiencing fluctuations in residents, with both new residents from varying communities and the out migration of younger populations seeking different work and educational opportunities.
This conference on investing in rural prosperity will feature discussion around the shifting population trends affecting rural America and how communities are incorporating the TRIC framework into their responses.
