Heather Sobrepena is the engagement director for the Federal Reserve’s Center for Indian Country Development (CICD), housed within the Community Development and Engagement Division at the Minneapolis Fed. She supports CICD’s mission to advance the economic self-determination and prosperity of Native nations and Indigenous communities by leading CICD’s engagement with tribal leaders and a wide variety of partners across Indian Country.
