Making Missing Markets: Connecting Communities and Capital

November 19 @ 1:30 pm 5:40 pm EST

Multi-color circle chart outlining topics related to education, health, housing, income, digital access, jobs, climate resilience, access to credit.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a hybrid event on fostering and improving markets channeling investments into under-resourced communities.

The event will explore strategies that help connect new sources of capital to community needs and solutions; scale existing sources of capital for communities; and connect previously unlinked buyers and sellers of services and products that address critical community challenges. Speakers and panelists will highlight the vital role of community-based interventions.

This will be of interest to leaders in finance, philanthropy, community development, and academia, and anyone else interested in creating new markets aimed at fostering opportunity-rich communities.

In-person registration closes on Friday, November 14, 2025.
