Opportunity occupations: Local teamwork is critical for building opportunity

So, in order to be successful in the opportunity occupations, you really have to have a network of folks together, working together, trusting each other. That network needs to involve local elected officials, county commissioners, state representatives, mayors, city council people. It needs to involve educators. And if you just get everybody around the table, the communication will start to happen. And once the communication happens freely, trust comes, and generally in my experience, success follows.
