There is no way to do workforce development well if you are not collaborating across sectors. So whether it’s the social service provider and that nonprofit organization providing resources to those that are hard to employ. The transportation system needs to be at the table because people have to be able to get to jobs. We need to make sure that our economic development folks are at the table so that we understand what incentives the city can provide. And then lastly, the education system at all levels, whether it’s K through 12, whether it’s community college or a four year institution. Understanding what are the industry needs and making sure the programs are tailored towards those needs.
